Simple Steps to Solve Sales Pain

On this video, we discuss the number one thing you can do to make your sales pitch more persuasive.

While you can definitely be persuasive by getting your customer excited, go a step further and show your customer how your offer solves a pain.

A pain is any problem your customer has in her daily life, which might include anything from a high energy bill to an uptick of crime in the neighborhood.

Start by using a few open-ended questions to gently ask about the pain – “How much do you currently pay for your energy bill? When you get surprised by a high energy bill, what type of impact does that have on your finances?”

Now, you’re in a great place to inform your customer that your offer can help her save money.

So remember: on your next sales pitch, gently ask your customer about her pains, then explain how your offer could solve them.
